Saed News: Here are some of the 3D masterpieces by Kurt Wenner, the American artist who left his job at NASA to showcase his genius on the streets and sidewalks of the world.
According to the Social Service of Saed News, Kurt Wenner, the American artist, was born in 1958 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but spent his childhood in Santa Barbara, California. He studied at two prestigious art institutions: the Rhode Island School of Design and the Art Center College of Design in California. During his studies, he was invited to collaborate with NASA and worked on conceptual designs at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
In 1982, Wenner decided to leave his job at NASA to dedicate all his time to art, which led him to move to Italy.
After a few months of living in Rome, he became familiar with the European tradition of street painting; however, what set Wenner apart from others was his incorporation of perspective techniques into this art form, which resulted in the creation of a new style called "3D Street Painting." His works have been showcased in over 30 countries around the world.
