In a recent report by Fox News Digital, it has been revealed that King Charles views his son, the Duke of Sussex, as having committed a ‘cardinal sin’ by labeling Queen Consort Camilla a ‘villain’ in his memoir, Spare. This revelation indicates that Charles is not quite ready to extend his forgiveness to his ‘darling boy’, evidenced by his decision not to meet Harry during the Duke's visit to the UK in May for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Additionally, he excluded Harry from the invitation list for his vacation at Balmoral.
Royal expert Christopher Andersen commented on the situation, stating, "When Harry branded his stepmother Camilla a 'villain' in his book and revealed that both he and William initially begged their father not to marry her, Harry committed what Charles regards as a cardinal sin." This insight suggests that Harry's words may have irreparably strained their father-son relationship.
Andersen went on to caution the Duke of Sussex that he may face lasting repercussions for his comments. "No one disses Camilla in royal circles and gets away with it – not even a son of the king,” he warned.
