SAEDNEWS: The chief commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) calls the Israeli regime an entity that has been born out of terrorism, saying the regime will fall prey to its own transgressions.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a powerful statement during an event in Tehran commemorating National Journalists' Day, Major General Hossein Salami emphasized the illegitimacy of the Zionist regime, declaring, “The Zionist regime has been born in a cradle of terrorism, and is not in possession of any of the elements that constitute a nation.”
His remarks were directed towards the catastrophic establishment of the regime in 1948, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians amid a massively Western-backed conflict.
Since that pivotal year, the regime has persistently perpetrated acts of terror against neighboring nations, using violence both as a means of countering opposition to its existence and as a tactic to extend its territorial occupation.
Salami characterized these aggressive actions as a “self-made vortex of fire” that now envelops the regime. He outlined specific instances of aggression, including the targeted killings of Iranian nuclear scientists and the recent assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, carried out in Tehran.
"They think that through these measures, they would succeed in prolonging their survival," Salami noted. However, he cautioned, “These [atrocities] are, however, holes that they (the Israelis) dug for themselves, and will gradually bury themselves in.” He further asserted that once the regime faces a strong response, they will come to realize that they have committed yet another grave miscalculation.
Salami's statements resonate with the warnings issued by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei following Haniyeh’s assassination, where the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed the need for a “harsh response” to this atrocity and upheld the Islamic Republic's commitment to avenging the blood of the resistance leader.
