Iranian Army Pledges Stronger Retaliation Against Future Threats

On the occasion of Defense Industry Day, Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, addressed Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, in a congratulatory message.

Hatami emphasized that the rapid and powerful advancement of Iran’s defensive capabilities is the result of the strategic guidance of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the trust placed in the armed forces and the country’s defense industry.

He highlighted that both software and hardware achievements became evident during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war and the recent 12-day imposed war, demonstrating Iran’s reliance on domestic scientific capabilities and indigenous defense power despite severe sanctions.

According to Hatami, the 12-day war once again proved that with wise leadership, national unity, and the sacrifices of the armed forces alongside the resistance of the Iranian people, the nation emerged victorious against hostile alliances. He asserted that the Iranian Army stands ready, as in the past, to deliver even stronger and more decisive responses against any malicious aggressor.

He also honored the memory of martyred defense ministers, defense industry scientists, nuclear martyrs, and fallen soldiers of the Iranian nation. Hatami reaffirmed that the Iranian Army will continue to play an active and decisive role alongside the Ministry of Defense in advancing the country’s defense capabilities.

The message concluded with the Quranic verse: “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy” (Al-Anfal 60).
