Chopped red meat: 800 grams
Red peppers: 4
White flour: 2 tablespoons
Chopped onions: 3
Paprika: 2 teaspoons
Beef broth: 200 milliliters
Spaghetti: 450 grams
Cream: 150 grams
Chopped chives: 1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper: To taste
Olive oil: As needed
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Slice the red peppers in half and remove the seeds. Drizzle them with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place the peppers on a baking tray and roast them in the oven for about 10 minutes. Once roasted, remove them from the oven and cut them into small 1 cm pieces.
Prepare the Meat:
Mix the flour with a pinch of salt, then coat the chopped meat pieces in the flour mixture. Heat some olive oil in a pot over medium heat, and brown the meat. Once the meat is browned, remove it from the pot and set it aside.
Cook the Onions and Spices:
In the same pot, add the chopped onions and sauté for 4-5 minutes until they become golden. Add the paprika and chopped roasted peppers and stir for about 1 minute. Return the browned meat to the pot and mix everything together.
Add Broth and Simmer:
Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours until the meat becomes tender.
Cook the Spaghetti:
About 10 minutes before the meat is ready, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add some salt and olive oil, then cook the spaghetti until it reaches your desired tenderness. Drain the spaghetti and set it aside.
Finish the Meat Sauce:
Just before the meat sauce finishes cooking, stir in the cream and a little extra salt. Mix well, then remove from heat.
Serve:
Place the cooked spaghetti in a serving dish. Pour the meat sauce over the top and garnish with chopped chives. Serve hot and enjoy!
