Although such drugs can be useful when constipation occurs, be aware that their continuous use disrupts the functioning of the intestines. Therefore, this drug should be used until bowel habits return to normal. Cilox tablets are herbal medicines and contain cumin essential oil.

Constipation: C-Lax tablets have a strong laxative effect and are used to relieve constipation caused by weak colon function. C-Lax tablets prevent sluggish bowel movements by helping to empty the bowel.

Side effects

It may cause urine to change color to reddish brown or yellow, which is not clinically significant.

In sensitive people, it may cause pain and spasms in the abdominal area, in which case, using Dine Gripe Water is recommended.

Things you should know about taking Cilox tablets

If you have other problems such as nausea and vomiting along with constipation, inform your doctor before taking the medication.

Taking Cilox tablets during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not recommended.

Use the medicine exactly as directed by your doctor.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid taking other laxatives during treatment with this medication.

This tablet should not be used in patients with rectal bleeding of unknown cause, unexplained abdominal pain, intestinal stricture and obstruction, appendicitis, and inflammatory bowel diseases
