SAEDNEWS: Australian Man Who Disappeared While Fishing Found Inside Crocodile
According to Saed News’ community service report, Kevin Darmody, a hotel owner, was last seen on Saturday at Kennedy’s Bend—a well-known saltwater crocodile habitat in a remote part of northern Queensland.
After a two-day search of the area, police killed two large crocodiles and discovered human remains.
The body has not yet been officially identified, but police described the incident as a “tragic end” for the 65-year-old man.
Mr. Darmody was an experienced fisherman and a well-known member of the Cape York community.
The two crocodiles, measuring 4.1 meters (13.4 feet) and 2.8 meters (9.2 feet), were shot on Monday about 1.5 kilometers (0.9 miles) from where he was last seen.
