SAEDNEWS: "Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind," wrote Pratt in his heartfelt tribute
According to SAEDNEWS, In a touching tribute, Chris Pratt is celebrating his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, on his 77th birthday. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 30, to express his admiration for the former California governor.
"Happy Birthday, Arnold! You’re truly one of a kind. I can’t wait for another year filled with your wise advice, good cigars, chess matches, and sharing homemade cookies with all the barn animals that roam your kitchen," Pratt wrote, showcasing his affection for his father-in-law.
His post featured a series of photos, starting with a nostalgic black-and-white shot of the two engaged in a chess game. It continued with a cheerful image of Pratt smiling behind Schwarzenegger while he relaxed in a sofa chair. The final picture captured a delightful moment of Schwarzenegger interacting with his granddaughters—Pratt's daughters, Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 2—in the kitchen alongside a pig. Pratt also has an 11-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Chris and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, 34, are expecting their third child together. The couple tied the knot in June 2019, and their family has been filled with joy ever since.
In a previous interview from May 2023, Pratt shared just how much his father-in-law's support means to him. "Arnold’s support is incredibly important to me on many levels. Being part of his family as his son-in-law is something I cherish deeply," he explained. "But on another level, as someone who grew up admiring him as an action hero—wondering what it would be like to be Commando or the soldier from Predator, and loving Terminator—it’s surreal to receive his praise for my work as an actor."
Pratt also reminisced about family moments with animals, revealing, "It’s a fun experience for me. I teach Lyla how to feed the horses. She was a bit scared at first, but now she’s getting the hang of it."
