Centipede Mouse' is a species first discovered by entomologist George Beccaloni in 2001 in Thailand. This insect has also been seen in Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Beccaloni said in an interview with National Geographic magazine: 'Wherever I travel, I always lift the stones by the streams, and I find this centipede, which is quite surprising. This insect looks terrifying. It is very large, has long legs, and is dark green in color.'
Centipedes generally avoid water, but when this entomologist lifted the stones by the river, the insect entered the water and hid.
