The President's Fraud Against His Own People / Argentina's Zorro Turned Out to Be Fake!

According to the political news service of Saed News, Kayhan wrote:

This analysis was published by the "Asr Iran" website regarding the praise some of its like-minded individuals gave and about the performance of the pro-American President of Argentina. It stated:

"Javier Milei, in a clumsy imitation of Elon Musk and Trump, introduced a meme coin that turned into one of the biggest frauds in crypto history. When he won in a low-turnout election, many experts saw his presidency as a sign of Argentinians' complete despair with existing structures. Some even compared it to a terminal cancer patient turning to sorcery out of hopelessness with medical science.

From the beginning, Javier Milei was a controversial and theatrical figure. With a chainsaw in hand and slogans of economic and structural reform, he attacked the few remaining economic, political, and bureaucratic structures in Argentina. However, his bizarre stances seemed interesting to some Persian-language media—those who believe that politics and economic management are as simple as enforcing a few neoliberal privatization policies and dismantling all bureaucratic structures. Some even called Milei the ‘miracle of Argentina’ in their media.

But in the final act of his magic show, the chainsaw-wielding ‘wizard’ left behind nothing but a complete farce. According to an Argentine parliamentarian, he has brought global disgrace to the country.

Javier Milei, who portrayed himself as a libertarian and neoliberal version of the legendary ‘Zorro,’ was involved in a massive crypto fraud, stealing billions of dollars from ordinary people in less than five hours.

Opposition lawmakers in Argentina recently announced that the controversial president is facing impeachment in Congress for promoting a fraudulent meme coin whose value plummeted rapidly. On Friday, Milei introduced an obscure cryptocurrency called ‘Libra’ on the social media platform X, causing its value to surge to nearly $5 per unit. Just a few hours later, its value crashed by 95%, wiping out nearly $4 billion.

The Argentine Chamber of Financial Technology declared this a case of ‘rug pull’ fraud. After facing backlash, the Argentine president deleted his promotional posts. However, this is not the end of the matter. Even after impeachment, he could face criminal charges. Argentine lawyers have filed a criminal complaint against Javier Milei for promoting a fraudulent cryptocurrency.

Leandro Santoro, a member of the Argentine Parliament, stated: ‘This scandal, which has shamed us internationally, requires an impeachment request against the president.’

Argentina is a land of controversial and famous figures. Perhaps Javier Milei’s name will be as enduring in history as Che Guevara and Maradona—but not as a legend, rather as a fraudster showman!"

It is worth noting that Javier Milei is an ardent supporter of the U.S. and Trump. Despite this, some Persian-language media have spent months attempting to portray this populist fraudster as a successful reformist and an exemplary leader.
