What is the Ghusl Batil al-Sihr?
Ghusl (ablution) is an act of worship in Islamic jurisprudence, meaning washing the entire body from head to toe in a specific manner. There are two types of Ghusl: obligatory and recommended. The obligatory types include Ghusl for Janabah (major ritual impurity), Ghusl for a dead body, Ghusl after touching a deceased person, and the three types of Ghusl for women (menstruation, postpartum, and abnormal bleeding). Recommended Ghusls include those for Friday, pilgrimages, and the three major religious festivals (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and Eid al-Ghadir). Ghusl can be performed in two ways: sequential (where the body is washed in stages) or immersive (washing the body all at once). It is preferable not to use more than three liters of water for a sequential Ghusl. After performing Ghusl of Janabah, one can offer prayers without the need for Wudu (minor ablution). However, there is a difference of opinion on this for other types of Ghusl.
Ghusl Batil al-Sihr is one of the most effective ablutions that quickly removes magic and various forms of bindings (such as those preventing marriage, financial matters, or family relationships). The advantage of this Ghusl is that it works very quickly to break these binds.
How is Ghusl Batil al-Sihr performed?
First, prepare a bottle of rosewater. Then, pour a small amount of salt (around a teaspoon) into it and recite Surah Al-Fatiha once, Surah Al-Ikhlas (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad) 110 times, and Ayat al-Kursi seven times. Pour the mixture into the rosewater bottle.
Take half a cup of the rosewater to the bathroom and after washing your body thoroughly, perform a sequential Ghusl, and make the intention (niyyah) for Ghusl Batil al-Sihr. For example, say: "I intend to perform Ghusl for the purpose of breaking the magic, through Surah Al-Ikhlas and Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, seeking closeness to Allah." This intention should be repeated while washing the head, neck, and other parts of the body.
After completing the Ghusl, take the remaining rosewater and mix it with one liter of clean water. Apply this rosewater to the head and neck first, then to the right side of the body, and finally the left side, making the same intention with each step. If any rosewater is left, drink a little, and place a drop on the head, the right shoulder, and the left shoulder.
After completing the steps, leave the bathroom without washing your hands or feet under the shower. Dry yourself off and wear clean clothes. While dressing, recite Surah Al-Kafirun once.
Benefits of Ghusl Batil al-Sihr:
Unlocking all matters.
Achieving complete health.
Opening the path for marriage for unmarried men and women.
Increasing wealth, livelihood, and prosperity in business.
Getting rid of any form of binding, whether it be from worldly attachments, illnesses, or other restrictions.
Recommended Time: It is recommended to perform this Ghusl occasionally, particularly on the first Sunday of the lunar month.
What can invalidate the Ghusl? There are seven actions that invalidate Wudu (and could invalidate Ghusl):
Urination.
Defecation.
Passing gas from the intestines.
A sleep where the eyes and ears are entirely disconnected (if you can hear or see, Wudu remains intact).
Loss of reason (such as insanity, intoxication, or unconsciousness).
Women's Istihada (irregular bleeding).
Janabah (major ritual impurity).
