Saed News: An Indian woman persuaded her husband to sell his kidney on the black market to pay for their daughter's education. However, she took the money and ran away with another man.
According to the Accidents Service of Saed News, citing Crime Reports, a woman from West Bengal, India, spent months convincing her husband to sell one of his kidneys to cover their daughter’s higher education and wedding expenses. Although the man was reluctant, he eventually believed that this sacrifice would secure his family's financial future and agreed to go through with it.
Since the sale of human organs has been illegal in India for over three years, it took him a year to find a buyer on the black market. After undergoing a painful surgery, he received $11,500 for his kidney and handed the money over to his wife. However, she betrayed his trust and ran away with another man.
When the devastated husband discovered the real reason behind his wife's insistence on selling his kidney, he was heartbroken. With the help of local police, he tracked down her hiding place. But when confronted, the woman admitted she had long planned to escape with her lover and needed the money to do so. She refused to return home, rejected any repayment, and demanded a divorce.
