According to SAEDNEWS, the women of the Karen ethnic group, who live in the villages of Chiang Rai, Thailand, are known for having the longest necks in the world due to the brass rings they wear around their necks. On average, a Karen woman wears 20 rings, weighing a total of 10 kilograms, throughout her life. These heavy brass rings gradually alter the shape of the body by putting pressure on the shoulders, causing the neck to stretch up to three times longer than that of an average person.
