SAEDNEWS: Finneas admitted he lost interest in collaborating with Billie Eilish.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a candid interview with Zane Lowe, Billie Eilish opened up about the hurdles she faced while collaborating with her brother and frequent musical partner, Finneas. The Grammy-winning artist revealed that the music-making process itself has often been a source of frustration for her.
“I used to be like, ‘I hate making music, I don’t want to make it, I don’t like making it,’” Billie admitted. “It's frustrating. It's irritating.” While she loves the end result—performing her songs and the joy that comes with creating something she’s proud of—she has always struggled with the actual process of making music.
Finneas, who serves as both producer and co-writer, echoed her sentiments, sharing that he has felt a decrease in enthusiasm for their collaborative efforts at times. “When we're talking about being out of sync, my whole strength as a collaborator with any artist—and it’s always been innate with Billie because we've shared so much—is I do have to understand that person to be able to feel like I'm providing something,” he explained.
However, amidst these challenges, Billie eventually discovered a way to embrace the creative journey. This breakthrough not only revitalized their collaboration but also marked a pivotal moment for both artists, enabling them to move forward with a fresh perspective and renewed sense of purpose.
As they continue to navigate the complexities of their artistic relationship, fans are excited to see how these experiences will shape their future music projects!
