SAEDNEWS: Pro-Palestinian activists are preparing to launch a new “Sumud Fleet,” organizing both land and maritime convoys aimed at reaching the Gaza Strip in a renewed effort to break the blockade and deliver support to Palestinians.
The memory of Israeli forces’ attacks on the passengers of the “Sumud Fleet” in international waters remains vivid, while Tunisian activists are now preparing to launch a new flotilla toward the Gaza Strip.
Reports indicate that the upcoming fleet will set sail in the coming months, taking a different approach from previous efforts. This flotilla is expected to be larger than its predecessor in terms of participating vessels, according to Mehr News Agency.
Unlike before, Tunisia will not serve as the primary gathering point. The ships will merely pass through Tunisian territorial waters, with other countries—such as Algeria—anticipated to become the main assembly hubs for pro-Palestinian activists.
