Milk: 3 cups
Sugar: ½ cup
Butter: 1 tablespoon
Vanilla: a pinch
Cornstarch: 2 tablespoons
Cake flour: 2 tablespoons
Cocoa powder: 2 tablespoons
Petit Beurre biscuits: 3 packs
Pour cold milk into a suitable saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and cake flour to the milk. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
Stir the mixture continuously for about 10 minutes until it thickens. When the edges of the milk start to boil, add butter and vanilla to the pan and stir quickly to prevent lumps.
Once the butter has completely melted and combined with the other ingredients, remove the pan from heat. Line a rectangular mold with a freezer bag. Pour 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the bottom of the mold and smooth it out.
Cover the mixture with Petit Beurre biscuits. Pour some milk into a small bowl nearby. Dip the biscuits in milk, then spread 1 teaspoon of the cream on each biscuit.
Arrange the biscuits in the mold in your desired order until the mold is filled. Once filled, cover the top with cream and refrigerate for 1 hour to let the cake set and become firm.
After 1 hour, remove the cake from the mold and cover all parts with cream. Refrigerate again for 2 hours until fully set. Decorate the cake as desired before serving.
